Dr Ram Narayan Agarwal, known as the father of Agni missile, passed away at the age of 84

He joined the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and rose through the ranks to become one of India's leading missile scientists. Agarwal was instrumental in the development and successful testing of the Agni series of ballistic missiles, which are a key component of India's nuclear deterrence strategy. Due to his significant contributions, he is often referred to as the "Father of the Agni Missile."
