T47 High jump event
The T47 high jump event is a para-athletic competition designed for athletes with upper limb impairments. T47 is a classification within the Paralympic system, primarily for athletes with a disability affecting one arm, which might include amputation, limited range of motion, or muscle power deficiencies. In the high jump event, athletes compete to clear a horizontal bar at varying heights. Just like in non-para events, they must successfully jump over the bar without knocking it off. The athlete who clears the highest bar wins the event.
